Both are good options. Stock hair systems are readily available and can be delivered from our manufacturer in as little as a few days. They come in many sizes & varieties of base construction as well as color and texture options. In house we are the masters of tailoring your hair system. From the fit to your style and sizing it to your specific hair loss site we can make it perfectly seamless. In the occasion that the fit/contour, size of the base or quality or color options are not what you desire we can make your hair dreams reality with a custom order. We do custom orders frequently because once you know it's possible to improve on your hair wearing experience you do!
Tailored Fit
Custom designed and made to order hair systems are the ultimate luxury because of the fit and the ability to use the highest quality materials. That is the number one reason I recommend hair replacement customers order a custom-made unit. Many customers do very well with a pre-custom hair system, this is a great thing because pre-custom is readily available and usually less costly. When a hair system does not fit well it will affect how well it stays attached, it can cause uncomfortable wrinkling of the base material or not give the proper hairline coverage. If you are a customer that wants a top-of-the-line product, have very specific needs/ wants and you desire a perfect fit- custom ordering is the way to go.
Custom base materials & hair color
The second most popular reason for ordering custom is that you can customize placement of base materials and hair color. The construction of the base is the foundation for your hairstyle. It must be considered when deciding on the type of unit you will be wearing. We are equipped with the experience as well as all the tools necessary to make this possible. We keep up with up to date with tecniques, material sample books as well as hair color and hair texture swatches to make the ordering process go smoothly
Tailored Hair Plus Ordering Policy
- Tailored Hair Plus requires a 50% deposit when ordering a hair system, topper or wig.
- The balance is to be paid in full at the time of cut-in
- A la carte orders are subject to state tax
- All in house customization is included in the price of your hair system. In house customization includes cutting the hair, coloring the hair, adjusting the size of the base, perming the hair.
- If any alterations to color, cut, base or texture are required beyond the day of cut-in we will honor the in-house customization included with your hair for one month from date of cut in. After that date any adjustments done will be charged the appropriate service fee.
Return policy
- Stock hair orders may be returned before they are customized for the customer.
- a $50 re-stocking fee applied to all returned orders even if they haven't been altered.
- Custom unit orders may be adjusted or canceled within 4 weeks of lacing the order. Custom hair system orders can not be cancelled or returned after that date.

We dedicate a one-hour appointment for a consultation. In this hour we can go over the options of wigs, toppers and permanent hair replacement. Once you've determined you're ordering a custom unit we work as a team to choose the details of your new hair system. This is the fun part where we bring in the material samples book and hair col

This is the fun part where we bring in the material samples book and hair color swatches. Your Hair replacement technician will design the construction for the base & help you decide on hair color, density and texture details. The next step is to make a template. This template is a replica of your scalp where we detail your new front hairline and area of coverage. now we use all the patience we can muster to wait for it to be handmaid in Asia. Custom orders can take anywhere from 2 to 6 months to come in. In the meantime most clients wear a stock hair system.

When a hair system arrives at our salon you will be given a phone call to make an appointment for a cut-in.
Things to keep in mind when getting a cut in.

- We will do at least two haircuts on the hair system, we will begin by shaping it wilt a thinning shear, leaving it longer that what you need at first and then trim some more because we err on the side of caution. This will ensure we are leaving the right length of hair on the hair system.
- It will feel like a lot of hair if this is your first time wearing hair.
